Miss Schramm

ABOUT ME

My name is Miss Melanie Schramm and I love teaching! I am always excited to guide students through a growth mindset model to learning and success. My favorite things about teaching grade include (and are not limited to!): mastering math facts, reading fiction, writing informational pieces, and learning about my students.

MY EDUCATION

I graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 2011 and went on to receive my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education (PreK-4) with a Spanish minor from Susquehanna University in 2015. In 2022, I graduated from the University of Kansas with my Master of Science in Education with a Reading Specialist License. I have also been dabbling in science courses through Montana State University. My teaching career began in a different school district where I taught one year of K-6 reading. I began teaching in the Loyalsock Township School District in 2016, where I taught my first two years in kindergarten and the following five in third grade. I started teaching second grade at Bellefonte in 2024.

MY HOBBIES

In my spare time I especially love running, mountain biking, traveling swimming, kayaking, and gardening. Other hobbies you might find me doing include reading or spending time with my family and friends.
