I am super excited to welcome you to our fifth-grade classroom. Starting a new school year is an exciting time for students and families. Student well-being and academic growth are of the utmost importance to me. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach and care for each of my students. This year is going to be amazing: new adventures, new challenges, and new books. Of course, our journey together will have winding curves, ups and downs, and may even throw us for a loop, but we will grow and learn together, posing questions, discovering new things about ourselves, others, and our world.

I’m local to Bellefonte; born in the Bellefonte Hospital and a resident from 1997-present. The Bellefonte (Centre County) Hospital began in 1902 in a house on N. Spring Street, and later moved to the Willowbank Building.

I married my high school sweetheart, Eric. We have six children. Hannah, Zachariah, Elijah, Aleah, Victoriah.

I am a graduate of State College Area High School and Penn State University. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. This is my third consecutive year teaching 5th grade at Pleasant Gap Elementary. I have 26 years of prior teaching experience in the State College Area School District.

I enjoy all four seasons, walking on the beach, collecting sea shells, planting flowers, international travel & camping.
