Along with learning the rules of the road, students in Driver Education have been discussing the different types of vehicles available on the market today. Besides traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, students were learning about hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and EVs. Not only are students gaining a better understanding of how these vehicles work, they are also discussing issues such as convenience, reliability, price, and safety.

Students learned more about hybrid vehicle technology and maintenance costs compared with internal combustion vehicles and fully electric vehicles.
