Student Athlete Information:

Student-Athlete Course Requirements

Each student-athlete must complete the following courses each year:

• Sportsmanship (approx 20 minutes)

• Bullying, Hazing and Inappropriate Behaviors (approx 25 minutes)

These courses MUST be completed before the regular season competition begins.

Student-Athletes only need to complete the courses one (1) time each year unless directed to complete again.

Student Team Managers:

*Must be completed and turned into the Athletic Trainer before attending practices/games

Coaches:

The following clearances MUST be renewed every 5 years for all coaches - paid and volunteer.

Act 34 - PA Criminal History

Act 151 - Child Abuse History

Act 114 - FBI fingerprints–(Volunteers that lived in PA for the past 10 years need only to complete a Residency Affidavit & Arrest/Conviction Form)

Act 126 - Mandated Reporter

Act 71 - Suicide Prevention

The following MUST BE renewed each year before working with student athletes and certificates dated after July 1.

The following are required to be completed within the first 2 years of starting to coach per the PIAA. The course certificates must be uploaded to the PIAA website.

These are required of ALL COACHES - paid and volunteer.

These courses are free to all coaches of BASD.
